The Together Works board will approve full membership applications from any social economy organisation that meets the following criteria:

• Enterprise Orientation
Your organisation is directly involved in the production of goods and the provision of services to the market, seeks to be a viable trading concern and where possible makes a surplus from trading.

• Social Aims
Your organisation has explicit social aims such as job creation, training or provision of local services. Your values include a commitment to local capacity building, accountability to members and the wider community for social, environmental and economic impact.

• Social Ownership
Yours is an autonomous organisation with a governance and ownership structure based on participation by stakeholder groups (users or clients, local community etc) or by trustees. Profits are distributed as profit sharing to stakeholders or used for the benefit of the community.
