Enterprising Magazine

Enterprising magazine is a regular publication covering news, information, features and debate around social enterprise in Greater Manchester. The production of Enterprising has been supported by funding through the Community Network for Manchester, as well as more recently NRF and ERDF funds via MSEF.

Enterprising is produced in order to :-

• Promote the activities of social enterprises in Manchester and the GM Sub region

• Report on social enterprise successes and help to spread learning to other social enterprises

• Improve linkages in the sub region through reporting news as well as needs and priorities of social enterprise in different areas of the sub-region

• Identify new projects and initiatives and services which are supporting social enterprise at the current time

• Provide interesting and through provoking material to relating to the values and activities in which social enterprise is engaged, in order to raise questions and simulate debate

 

The magazine has been published by since 2004 and the current issue (number 7) has a special focus on climate change, demonstrating how social enterprises are adopting a genuinely progressive approach to tackling this vast issue.
