Andy Wynne
Network Co-ordinator

Andy has over twenty years experience in the mutual, co-operative and social enterprise sectors. After three years with a mutual building society he spent thirteen years at one of the worlds largest co-operatives where he set up a new Mortgage Department and then managed its Customer Services section. He has been the co-ordinator of the social enterprise network in Greater Manchester since 2003 including eighteen months working as a director to set up and establish Social Enterprise North West. He was a member of the steering group that developed the Balance benchmarking tool for social enterprises and has sat on a number of steering and support groups involved in social enterprise business support and development.

His work experience is supported by a first degree in Economics and Politics and a Masters degree in Human Ecology. As network co-ordinator he has been involved in Regeneration and Community Development initiatives in Manchester with the Community Network for Manchester and the Manchester Local Strategic Partnership. He took part in the Common Purpose programme for regeneration practitioners in the North West in 2009 .He is a member of the UK Sustainable Development Panel and a director of Community North West.
