Start in Salford's mission is to promote emotional well-being and recovery by providing creative arts-based activities and training opportunities for people who are, or may be at risk of experiencing mental health difficulties or social exclusion.

We retain arts graduates in Bolton by providing opportunities for emerging contemporary artists to develop their creative practices in the local community. Opportunities include membership of a supportive artists network and an affordable working studio.
